Japan and ROC on Taiwan to Support Education sector

According to the Ministry of Education and Training second quarter performance report tabled before the House of Assembly last week, the Government of Japan through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has already undertaken a preparatory survey for a second phase of the project of constructing new secondary schools throughout the country and it’s feasibility study is being conducted in 21 different communities in the Kingdom.

Before this, in August 2015, the Government of the Republic of China on Taiwan has already provided the 80% funds amounting to US$ 288, 000 (approximately E3.7 million) for a project to purchase computers and it’s accessories for rural secondary schools in the Kingdom.
