According to Themba Dlamini, Managing Director Tibiyo Taka Ngwane; it pleased the Ingwenyama King to re-appoint the six person board to the directorship of the Swazi Observer Group of Newspapers. They are Sthofeni Ginindza, who chairs the board, and members are Prince Mandla Roland Dlamini, Senator Princess Phumelele Dlamini, Chief of Ezulwini Mashampu Sifiso Khumalo, Dumsile Lavumisa Sigwane and Simanga Zibuse Simelane.
Chairman of the Board Sthofeni Ginindza thanked the His Majesty and said, “we look at the newspaper as a very important player in advancing socio-economic and political issues that would contribute towards the country’s development and thereby achieve the King’s vision of a First World status by 2022,”.
The Swazi Observer is a newspaper in the Kingdom of Swaziland. It was established in 1981 and it is owned by Tibiyo TakaNgwane. The Swazi Observer has sister newspapers, the Observer on Saturday, and the Sunday Observer and considered a ‘very responsible reporting’ newspaper in Swaziland and has it’s readership all over the world through it’s website as well.
