Prime Minister of Swaziland, Sibusiso Dlamini said, a leader had to be a communicator, since poor communication from the upper levels of the leadership is a guarantor of dysfunctional behavior at the lower grades.

“Effective in every case, for effective performance the characteristics of good leadership have to be in evidence, instructing, motivating, guiding, coordination and controlling,” said the premier.

He was speaking on Saturday through Minister of Public Works and Transport Pastor Lindiwe Dlamini during the Mananga Centre’s Sixth Graduation Ceremony for the Masters in Leadership and Change Management Programme.

Prime Minster Dlamini said, “one of man’s prevailing shortcomings was the inability to readily initiate change or accept its inevitability when necessary to do so”.

Amongst the graduates of Masters in Leadership and Change Management Programme were Swazi TV’s Mcolisi Mavimbela from the Outside Broadcasting Unit and Central Bank’s Head of Strategy and Communications, Zithulele Gina.
