The event was well attended with over 200 children from the area attending together with numerous adults. This was the first time that such an event was staged for the children of the Area. Miss Swaziland Tourism is part of the Imbali foundation of HRH Princess Sikhanyiso. The event started at about 11:30 in the morning with the Gogos in attendance at the Center receiving the donated food and preparing to cook for the attending children. Make …… who is in charge of the Center actively took part in the preparations while the Team of organisers set up the Jumping castle for the Children and the sound system for the Performers. Miss Tourism presented the Centre with some gifts and cloth for selected children that she had collected
Team Purple entertainment represented by their manager Gino Kash , artist Tripple King Twenty , DJ Toxik and Swazilands Socio Economic website Ballyhoo were present and contributed towards the food and presents that were presented.
The community was treated to live entertainment by Mathobela (kwebhakwebha) ,
AbelaKhoza , King Papi and Mnike.
The Jumping caste as expected proved a great hit with the younger children while the older had fun dancing and playing games with Miss Swaziland Tourism. The weather was perfect for an outdoor party, slightly overcast with a light breeze and rain in the late afternoon when food was finally served.
Meanwhile in Malaysia Preparations for the Miss Tourism Queen International are at the advanced stage where world countries are to compete on this special pageant to be held on 31st December 2015 in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Swaziland is amongst the participants and Miss Tourism Swaziland 1st Princess Lindelwa Dlamini is already in Malaysia to represent the country.
Imbali Foundation as the umbrella body of the Miss Swaziland Tourism Pageant would like to thank all partners who contributed towards the necessities of Lindelwa’s travel to Malaysia.
