Swaziland reduced corruption – Corruption Perceptions Index

(By B.Benard, Feb. 16,2016) Kingdom of Swaziland has reduced corruption in the latest ranking as reported by the Transparency International. The Corruption Perceptions Index ranks countries and territories based on how corrupt their public sector is perceived to be. A country or territory’s rank indicates its position relative to the other countries and territories in the index. 

Swaziland is the 69 least corrupt nation out of 175 countries, according to the 2014 Corruption Perceptions Index reported by Transparency International.

Highest number reflects high in corruption. Brazil, Thailand, India and Zambia share the same ranking of 76 in corruption, while Mozambique has No. 112 ranking means more in corruption. Zimbabwe 150, Libya 161 and Somalia ranks 167 in Corruption Ranking reported by the Transparency International.

Global Terrorism Index

Kingdom of Swaziland also has best rating and considered safe according to ‘Global Terrorism Index’. Swaziland has “0” score same as Japan and has no impact of any type of terrorism on Kingdom economy.

Terrorism Index in Swaziland remained unchanged at 0 in 2014 from 0 in 2013.

The Global Terrorism Index measures the direct and indirect impact of terrorism, including its effects on lives lost, injuries, property damage and the psychological aftereffects. It is a composite score that ranks countries according to the impact of terrorism from 0 (no impact) to 10 (highest impact).
