Mbabane, Swaziland; The Government of Swaziland will next month implement a reshuffle in the diplomatic service that will affect seven embassies in New York, Ethiopia, Washington DC, Brussels, South Africa, Malaysia and Taiwan. The looming change was announced by Foreign Affairs and International Relations Minister Mgwagwa Gamedze.
The minister said all those who will be recalled from Foreign Service will be assigned other duties in Swaziland.
“Government has approved these appointments and they are effective July 1, 2017,” the official said.
Government has also endorsed a 15 percent salary increase for ambassadors representing the country internationally, a development that will be implemented this financial year.
